Frequently Asked Questions
What is Your Rate?
If you are interested in working with Bri, her intake session is $245 and follow up sessions are $195. If you are working with McKenna, her intake session is $150 and her follow ups are $100.
Do You Take Insurance? Why Not?
No, we can accept HSA cards and/or can provide a SuperBill (receipt for services) for you to submit to your insurer for out-of-network reimbursement. We recommend you check with your insurance provider to see what kind of out-of-network coverage you have.
Operating outside of the insurance model allows us to offer more customized care plans and schedules without being beholden to the policies and limitations of insurance coverage.
Tell Me More about the Sliding Scale.
The sliding scale is a lower rate option for people in uniquely challenging financial hardships. Both McKenna and Bri hold spaces in their practices for sliding scale clients. Feel free to inquire about this option if finances are a current challenge in your life.
How Long do Sessions Last?
A therapy "hour" is about 50 minute. Yes, we know that makes no sense, but yes, it is how it is.
When Do You See Clients?
McKenna sees clients in the mornings and evenings on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Bri sees clients from about 8am-2pm Monday through Thursday.
Are You Offering Telehealth Appointments? How about In-Person?
Bri is currently only offering telehealh appointments. McKenna is offering both telehealth and in-person care.
Where is Your Office Located?
We are located in the Well + Whole Collective in South Minneapolis at the intersection of 48th and Nicollet.
How Do I Get Started?
You can start by using the "Book A Consult Call" button below to get in touch and schedule a consult call so we can chat about if we are a good fit and go from there. Don't worry, click the button and we'll walk you through the process from there.
What Happens in a Consult Call?
The consult call is a quick 15" check in, free of charge, to connect and make sure that we are a fit. It's also a chance to answer any lingering questions you may have before getting up and going.
What Can I Expect in My First Session?
In the first session we just do a lot of gathering information and building rapport. It's a chance to get to know one another and for us to hear your story and set some goals for our work together.
How Frequently Will We Meet?
That's up to you! Most clients start with weekly or biweekly appointments to build momentum and adjust from there. We suggest setting up a recurring appointment for the sake of simplicity and ease and also to get into the flow of the therapeutic work.
