About

We're big believers in the idea that you have to find the right therapist for you.
I think one of the most healing elements of therapy is the therapeutic relationship you develop with your therapist.
The fit MATTERS.
So, here's a bit about us.

Bri Dunbar, MA, LMFT, RYT 200

I'm infinitely curious and I genuinely want to hear your stories. I'm analytical, but also like to flex my intuitive muscles. I trust gut instincts and inner guidance and will help you learn to trust them, too. I'm big hearted, but a straight shooter. I want to support you and will hold your story with honor and reverence. I'm a devotee of the slower life and like to challenge assumptions and policies that no longer serve me. I'm holistic and integrative in my approach.

I'm a partner and a parent and a business owner. I show up as my human self when I sit with my clients. Sometimes that's imperfectly and I'm working to learn that can be healing, too.

Alternate titles for my work: grief guide, underworld companion, shadow worker, midlife midwife, and ceremonialist. We’re going to get in there and feel some things.

I've been working as a therapist since I graduated from St. Thomas in 2011. I'm also a registered yoga teacher and completed my teacher training at Kripalu.

Christy Wiles, MA, LAMFT
Hi, I'm Christy. Whether you’re looking for deep personal healing, you want to create a more enjoyable relationship, or you need some extra support during a difficult time, I offer a nonjudgmental space where I will walk beside you every step of the way as we find a way forward.

I enjoy working with people who want to find freedom from entrenched patterns and explore new ways of relating to themselves and the people they care about. I have advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples (EFT), and I also have advanced training in Nonviolent Communication (NVC). I have had a personal mindfulness practice for over a decade, and I often integrate mindfulness practices into my work with clients.

Before pursuing a career as a therapist, I worked in the arts for fifteen years. I hold an M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Wisconsin, Stout, and a B.A. from Reed College in Portland, OR.

Andrea Johnson, MA, LAMFT

Hi, I'm Andrea. After a decade in a corporate career, a series of reflections led me to a shift in my professional life as well as many perspectives I had previously clenched to. While I love my new vocational path I am constantly reminded that I have not "arrived" and that life is a series of arrivals and departures, feeling lost and finding hope. My goal is to help others learn to sit in their pain when it is necessary and find hope to move forward too.
I approach therapy from a position of great humility and even greater wondering. I will seek to know you better and hopefully help you to know you better too.
When I am not seeing clients, I can be found in many places. The top contenders include spending time with my three young children, supporting my partner in running a small business or savoring precious pockets of time in community with friends and family.
I have found a passion for supporting individuals and couple's navigating emerging adulthood as well as the trenches of parenthood. Regardless of where you find yourself, I would be honored to sit with you.

Project Matter's Therapy Values
We believe that being whole and living well requires...
- a willingness to get uncomfortable- feel the hard feelings and question the norms that no longer serve you
- the courage to slow down and set your own pace and policies in your life
- trusting one's Self to find the answers to life's big questions
- getting into your body and listening to the messages it holds
- acceptance of yourself in your messy humanness
- letting intuition speak as loudly as reason, logic and everyone else's opinions
